Where is Angelo Place located?
Angelo Place is located at 1426 Western Ct. We are the new apartment complex behind Johnny Carino's and The Hawthorne Inn hotel on Knickerbocker in San Angelo, TX.
What size apartments are available?
All of the apartments are approximately 1333 square feet and each bedroom is approx. 9X12ft. They are all four bedroom and four bathroom.
What are Individual Leases?
An individual lease is a lease you sign that binds only you to the lease. If your four bedroom four bathroom apartment is full and one of your roommates moves out or defaults on his or her rent, you are not penalized because you are on an individual lease. ***ASK about our short term leases (Limited Number Available)
What are the terms of the Lease agreements?
Currently, all of our lease agreements are set up for 12 month terms. Please view the Housing Contract under the Forms tab.
How much are the Apartments?
4bedroom/4bathroom: $485/person.

What Utilities are included in the rent and how are overages billed back?
Cable with HBO, high-speed Internet, electricity (with monthly cap), water/sewer, and garbage are all included in your monthly installment. Electricity has a usage cap per bedroom of $25. If an apartment exceeds the monthly cap for electricity usage, all residents in the apartment will be billed equally for the overage.
What is included in the monthly installments?
All apartments come fully furnished in the common areas and bedrooms. There are full size washers and dryers in each apartment and kitchens includes a stove, refrigerator, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave. Cable with HBO, high-speed Internet, electricity (with monthly cap), water/sewer, and garbage are all included in your monthly installment.
What furniture is in the apartment?
In the common area we provide a Micro Suede sectional sofa with a chaise lounge, coffee table, entertainment center and 4 bar stools. The kitchen appliances include a stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Right off of the kitchen is the laundry area, which will have a full size washer and dryer. The bedrooms consist of a full size bed with under the bed storage, dresser, and computer desk with chair.
What happens if I want to cancel my lease?
Once a lease has been agreed to online, you have 3 days from the execution date of the contract to change your mind. After the 3 day timeframe, it is your responsibility to find a qualified replacement to take over the remaining balance of your lease agreement. Management must approve replacement, and there is a $200 administrative fee to complete the process. The only exception to this is the military clause included in the lease agreement.
What happens if I don’t like my roommate?
Our management team encourages you to communicate openly with your roommates in an attempt to resolve any conflicts that may arise from sharing an apartment together. There is a Roommate’s Bill of Rights that is agreed to upon signing your lease contract that will help you address common roommate issues, such as guest visitation, apartment décor, sleeping schedules, etc. If you and your roommates are unable to reach a mutual agreement or there is a violation of the lease occurring within your apartment, please feel free to contact our management team. We will do our best to assist you with roommate mediation. As a last resort, residents can transfer to another unit, upon availability, for a $200 transfer fee.
Are pets allowed?
Angelo Place does allow pets in select Units. Please contact the Leasing Office for more Details.
How do you match roommates?
When completing your lease online, you will complete an extensive roommate description form on yourself and on what you desire in a roommate. Our program will then filter the information provided and send you a list of high, medium, and low matches based on how similar your forms are. You can also do a specialized search to pick our those that meet your particular requests (non-smoker, etc.) You are welcome to make contact with those people by sending a blind email through the system. If you choose, you may disclose personal contact information to learn more about the other resident. Management will not disclose personal contact information.
What amenities are available on the property?
We have a 24-hour Clubhouse with game room, computer lab, state-of-the-art fitness center, sand volleyball court and a resort-style dive-in poolside theater. Tanning s also available free of charge to all residents, by appointment only.
Can I pay my rent online?
You can now pay your rent online through your own Resident Portal. Click on the “Resident” tab on our website and click the link that says “Pay Your Rent Online”. There is a $16.95 service fee each time you make an online payment. We only accept Mastercard and Visa credit card.
What if I want to live with someone of the opposite sex?
To live in a co-ed unit, everyone in the unit and their Guarantors must sign a release stating they are aware of the co-ed environment.
Are you able to work with Financial Aid?
We are not directly affiliated with any college or institution so we may not bill you directly through the university. You will need to bring in your current award letter to the leasing office so that we may use this as your income to qualify with out a Guarantor.
What do I need to bring with me that will NOT be provided for me?
You should bring any pots, pans, flatware or dinnerware that you wish to use. You should also bring any linens for your bed, towels and accessories for your bathroom. You should bring also bring any items with you to decorate your apartment. Don’t forget your computers and TV’s!
Can we upgrade our cable service? (possibly to include DVR)
You can upgrade your cable service. We take care of the extended cable with HBO so and you should contact our service provider and set up your own bill for the upgrade.

When choosing your apartment you can specify them as roommates, or if you have too many for one apartment, you can choose them to be neighbors! PlaceNet is our dedicated and managed high-speed Internet service available in every bedroom. Browse the web at lightning speeds and easily access online classes by the click of a button. With PlaceNet service, you can avoid wasting time with busy signals and slow connection speeds with dial-up service.
As a completely independent system, PlaceNet does not require any additional services from the telephone and cable companies. Most companies actually require basic service even before high-speed Internet is an option and then require a contract! PlaceNet does not require any hardware rental or deposit.
PlaceNet is also extremely easy to use. The only equipment needed is a computer with an Ethernet card (most recent PC's already have one).
